... man and hiked our way over a rocky and uneven path to the "accessible" part of the Wall. After a short but steep walk, we climbed over some collapsed metal steps - the new way to access the watch tower was by a ladder propped up against a window. Great. However, despite all of these things, we were still having the best day of our trip so far because we had only seen about 5 other people!

You know your hostel sucked when the train's soft sleeper is more comfortable! Actually slept through the night until fabricated birdsong began to belt through the cabin speakers at 7am- why?!!! We were all pleasantly resting, and the train doesn't arrive for another 2.5 hours. Lonely Planet had me worried about getting a ticket to ...

    ... City and Tianjin City.

Cangzhou city is located in the middle of Liaocheng city and Tianjin City. From Jining to Liaocheng is around 300km and from Liaocheng to Tianjin is around 140km. Liaocheng is also a city with Grand Canal runs through it. But now most part of the Grand Canal is dry. Only some part in the downtown city is still with water and acts as part of a park. Now the most famous landmark of the city is the Iron Lion.
