I'm trying to decide – what do you need and not need in life …
I had a tooth filling fall out a couple of weeks ago. Kept meaning to go & see a dentist but finally got around to it today … I had been told the name of a dentist who spoke some English, not sure how much, who would be happy to see me.
So I headed off on my bike … following the wonderful Google maps (& Here.com which is what I have on my Nokia phone.)
I'm on the move again today. Metro to Termini train station and fast train to Milan at 11am. Takes 3 hours. Speeds of around 248 kms an hour. My ears keep popping when we go through the tunnels. The terrain is very similar to down south. Rolling hills etc., with flat plains in between. I can't see so many olive trees though and there's a lot more grape vines. It still all looks very beautiful. Can't say for sure but the soil looks a lot more sandier than ...
... trees. We were stuffed full after lunch so had a nap under some trees along the lake.
Alex said he was bored and lured me away to have a look at some of the gardens. When we got to the top of a hill to a look out pad he said 'yup this is pretty' and fumbled with his bag to get out his camera, or so I thought.... He pulled out a box and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I said of coarse yes of coarse! Or something to that effect.... It happened ...
