        ... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
        Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

        This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
        If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

        ... does not seem to be any urgency to open any of the closed (and most walkable) paths with the big winners the train and ferry operators. Guess what, the only one open is the walking path between Monterosso and Vernazza, also just happens to be the more "challenging" of them all. I am actually doing this blog from heaven (do not mention stairs or steps) as I have had a heart attack in my stupidity as we walked (John) and crawled (me) for the 3 hours it took. ...

        ... boys then went off to get Chris' bike serviced. As his bike has only done 8000km, he had a few issues to be fixed (mirror dangling, no back brakes and a faulty dash light) as well as his oil change and normal adjustments. Kerrie stayed at the hotel and blogged!

        Tomorrow we head into Switzerland to start our quest to ride as many mountain passes as we can in the next 3 weeks before we are due at Assen for our next MotoGP.

        ... varying from 10-20%. But this place didn’t have these hidden fees so we returned again. Each night we tried new gelato to cleanse the palate!

        The next day was Mothers day. We were all excited to wish our mum’s happy mothers day so of course we timetabled this into our days.
