Day 7 C Urumqi - the night train was overfilled and we found no sleep. So we escaped the Metropolis to look for some peace at Heaven Lake (2000m) in the Heaven Mountains (Tian Shan). I ate some haloumi at the local night-market that was perhaps the most delicious food of this trip. Oddly, as China only has one timezone the sun rises and sets 2 hours later than you'd expect, meaning dinnertime at the night market happened in broad daylight.
