... gorge! Twin Falls is a lovely town and we stopped at the tree lined mall in the town centre for a sandwich, then had a quick look at the Shoshone Falls before hitting the Freeway again. The falls were not flowing very fast as the local irrigation system had depleted the rivers volume, but I'll bet that in winter it is a fair sight! Right next to the Falls was the spot in the Gorge that Evil Knievel jumped across on his motorcycle! We turned onto I86E and continued on ...
After leaving Whiskeytown Lake and buying provisions in Redding, California, we continued to follow highway 299 up towards the Oregon border. At sunset, we found another Forest Service campground on the Fall River, where we stayed the night. After sunset, we again heard strange noises from around the camp area. Our next stop was Big Cottonwood canyon
just west of Salt Lake City to visit my cousin Shaun and his wife
Barb. Shaun works up Little Cottonwood canyon at Snowbird Ski Resort
so we went up for a tour and had a chance for the kids to play on the
rides. They bounced on a trampoline, rode the alpine slide and took
the tram up to the summit. Both ...

We talked about everything from where they were from, their new greenhouse, tires, whats a good ...
... had a WY fishing license. The Hoback looked great! We continued to follow the Snake River valley to Idaho Falls. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was cool with a moderate wind. We have a nice spot in this campground and are looking forward to more adventures tomorrow. Not sure where we will end up Monday evening. There is a good chance we will be in a forest campground somewhere and may not have internet or cell phone service.
