Grabbed a coffee at a Starbucks and after a quick look around this little town we hit I84E. After passing through some very uninspiring country we suddenly drove into a magnificent belt of agriculture - cereal crops, hay crops, lucerne, fruit and veggies - you name it, it was grown on an enormous scale! There were machinery dealers all along the freeway, selling big tractors, trucks and other implements, a very prosperous area. Just before Ontario we put our watches forward ...

... can smell the salt in the air. It feels just like we are at the beach.

We continue on, taking the time to drive through downtown Salt Lake City We pass by the Salt Lake Tabernacle (Mormon Tabernacle). I would love to have the time to go in and see the inside, but we are trying to make it to our hotel before dark. We stop at Best Buy and trade our inverter that has stopped working.

This last part is kind of fun. There's a great poster from Britain in World War II that's been resurfacing as we endure the effects of war and economic depression in current times. The restaurant had a take-off on that poster, but didn't realize it- just thought it was a cute poster. Which it was.

... I got to drive through all the sections of road works which meant I had to squish on one lane sections of road with barricades either side of us. Thank goodness it was hot so that the sweat of fear would dry before anyone noticed. Ha ha.
This RV resort was easy to find and we are loving a night with full hook-ups
and proper TV for a few hours.
We are all enjoying ‘The Amazing Race" on TV, We now
have a really good appreciation ...
