... Wszyscy mówiący po angielsku. I połowa młodzieży z iPhonami w ręku. Poczuliśmy się jakbyśmy przyjechali do Rumunii z prowincji. Mimo opowieści znajomych o Rumunii, w naszych głowach wciąż siedział obraz kraju zacofanej, nędzy i rozpaczy. Hittin' the town with the G-Man

For the main course Giulia and I ordered the same thing.. a salmon baked inside a sourdough bread thing (like a pot pie) with raisins, spinach and nuts. It was soo good, incredible really. Squid ordered a turkey with a cream and mushroom sauce, sided with deliciously baked potatoes. My dad ordered salmon and that is about all we can remember! Birthday Proper
... as well as representatives of the Popescu side of the family (us three, Andrada's sister Loredana, her boyfriend Mircea and their mother, Luminita). We started with some cold cuts, some rosé wine and some soup (chicken noodle soup with meatballs!). For the main course, we had some baked trout with mamaliga. Yumms! I might have overdone it with an available garlic sauce that got mysteriously smothered over one of my trouts ...
