    Highlight of the day for me was at the Hungary/Romania border, got asked for the bike docs by a Romanian border guard, I gave him an A4 receipt from the hotel in Brno (Written in English) he had a good look and than passed it back with a cheery "Thanks"

    ... a ride later in the evening, but it’s sort of doubtful. I’ve already reserved my hostel in Budapest, but I’ll have to cancel and just pay for it anyways (since there’s usually a 24-hour cancellation policy). I can almost certainly stay at the hostel I was in the night before in Timisoara though, as I heard them mention that they weren’t expecting anyone to come today.

    The only thing is that the hostel is about an hour walk ...

    ... where the group of them that work at the hostel were working on various things throughout the day. They grow herbs and strawberries and some other things like tomatoes as well. They have some bathtubs in the backyard set up for people to 'swim' in during the summer months. It's just a really nice place. Hopefully the shower experience will also be good so I can feel great giving the hostel a stellar review.

    ... oh we've got this really cool technology called credit cards but lets not let anyone use them expect at bankomats where they can get cash out to go back to the original way of paying anyway" it's like, why bother in the 1st place? the hostel owner took great pleasure in telling me Timisoara is the city with the most parks in Romania. he clearly decided to leave out the bit that it's the city with the least cashpoints. anyway, rant over. my next attempt ...

    Day 7: Today we continued on our travels and today we are going to Timisoara. When we got there we went to Gradina Zoologica Timisoara. It was a nice zoo and we learnt lots about Romanian wildlife. We saw bears, deer and many other animals. We really enjoyed ourselves. After lunch we went on a boat tour of the Bega River. The scenery was really nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a great day today and we are really looking forward to ...
