Drove 320 miles from Columbia, MO to Santa Claus, Indiana. As we were driving through St. Louis, we stopped at the Arch, which was right near the St. Louis Cardinals baseball stadium. Briefly visited the museum under the Arch, and then had lunch at Caleco's. ... that given they are a VERY small winery, they offered 21 different wines ranging from dry to semi-sweet to sweet to fruit to spiced, and that the dry red wines they offered were not bad. Given that the winery is called Winzerwald, their white wines were typically German and tasted very similar to those we had back in the 70’s when we were stationed in the heart of the Rhine River valley.
