We set sail at 7 pm last night in very cloudy (smog) conditions. Had a lovely dinner at a new table on the upper level of the restaurant and met a nice couple from Melbourne. They are travelling Singapore to Hong Kong as are most people we have met except the round the worlders (one couple from Caloundra would you believe) who then fly back home from UK. Early night ...

... the beach a guy came rushing to us with a paper with pictures of chips and burgers on it and started to point at his food stall. Sure after our breakfast we wanted some western food. Prices were quite good so Miriam, Clíona and Des ordered a chicken burger with chips and Cian got a fresh fruit salad, yummy! Food in China isn't disappointing us (besides today's breakfast). Quickly found a spot on the beach and it was time to relax! Towels out, suncream on (not enough :/ ...

Another short night, breakfast is until 9.00am so went downstairs at 8.30. Unfortunately breakfast wasn't very satisfying. They only had noodles, eggs and a dry sort of bread. We all ate something, but will definitely have early lunch.

... some glasses of beer, mind you their glasses had about 0,2l in them! Sure the Chinese do have fun when they had some alcohol, they definitely made us laugh! Taxi back now. The resort gave us a card with their address on it in Chinese, but we don't think it's right as the taxi drivers look at it quite strangely. So we show them our itinerary where the right address is written down. This worked out fine this afternoon when we had to get to the ...

    Day 5, haikou and sanya!

Woke up in our fancy hotel! Clíona was in such a deep sleep she was a bit confused where she was, beds were really comfy!Breakfast was in the "western" restaurant, well not too much choice there. Bread was a bit sweet and toaster was quite adventurous, bread had to go through it 3 times, lol!
Upstairs we took turns in our fabulous bathroom, Miriam had a lovely bath and fell back asleep when Clíona was having her shower. The time difference, travelling ...
