Try the streetfood around, the fried noodles or noodle soups (15 RMB) are great, especially if you top it up with a fresh mango from one of the fruit shops afterwards. If you ask it will be cut for you in a easy to eat way without taking it apart, yummy!
They also let you try pieces of all those fruits you never dared to buy before cause you didnt know which part is eatable. Give it a go, you will be surprised one way or the other...

... the older women weaving. They wear tattoos all over their bodies. They originally got tattooed because it made their skin ugly and protected them from getting kidnapped. Also you couldn't get married if you weren't tattooed. The ritual was very painful. You were poked with thorns and then soot was rubbed into the wounds. The whole process took about a week. Today it is frowned on because it is hard to get a job in Hainan if you are tattooed.

... for Fen Jie Zhou, Boundary Island, in English. It is a beautiful beach with white sand and blue water. No tropical storm so far! The weather was warm and windy today, perfect for the beach. Harry and Connor went to watch a dolphin show and Gene and I, Belinda and Louis walked to the beach. There were a lot of water bikes in the water and Louis went in for a swim.
