Today was our last day of academic material and we finally got to go to Wimbledon and Chelsea. Wimbledon was like nothing else. A beautiful beautiful venue. But it was not as big as I would have imagined. Everything was awesome. You could see a beautiful sky lining of the city from part of the stadium and that was so neat. The day was rounded off with a healthy serving of Hugh Grant ...

The boat too a while to arrive but we didn't mind as while we were waiting they opened the Tower Bridge to let a military ship out of Thames, I spose to make it's way to sea. Was a great site to see all the traffic on the bridge had to just sit and wait and all the people walking on the bridge stopped to have a look. It was like the city just stopped while the pilot ...

... Embankment Gardens it's time to collect some more bikes and reach our destination of the Millenium Bridge passing Cleopatra's Needle on the way. This granite obelisk was presented to Britain in 1878 by Egypt's Turkish rulers in gratitude for Nelson's victory at the Battle of the Nile in 1798. It has nothing to do with Cleopatra by the way! It's at this point that my phone battery dies, so no more pictures today :-( It's a pity as we can see the OXO ...
