Anyway, after all that, I apologized profusely to Courtney but she seemed to take it all in stride. I was insanely embarrassed. Courtney had to do some shopping and so she drew me a map and I went to see all the peonies at Wangcheng park for the peony festival.

... until I hit Hong Kong before I sort something else out. After killing a bit time and chatting with my Mam, Dad, Sister and Zac on Skype I caught my Taxi to get my overnight train to Zhangjiajie. The station is a diferent one to the one I arrived in and is probably the smallest scruffiest train station I've ever seen. ... is in the main grotto. We walked over the bridge and along the other side of the river. This took ages as we were photographing all the time trying to get the best shot of the fantastic view. This place is one of the highlights of my China stay.
We waited at the end of the shopping plaza for Todd and caught a taxi home. We missed the last bus so Todd negotiated a fare home. It was twice as expensive as it should have been which makes me angry.

... are a lot of decorations in the shops for your home. I will have to find out which ones I will need to make my house lucky and me lucky as well. I think you decorate around your door. I will have to find out from the locals. I am a bit disappointed that the "lion' thing is from Hong Kong and doesn't happen here. There will be plenty of fireworks apparently . There is already an increase in fireworks going off and some of them are pretty ones and not just the loud ones for weddings.
