    ... thankful for this trip what I was able to experience in such a short amount of time. Even though it was a quick trip for me I've learned a lot.

    One of the things that is different in Japan vs Korea is that they drive on the left side of the road and in the vehicles the drivers are on the right side, not the left side like in Korea ...

    ... Friday afternoon. This means that I will be able to head back to Korea Friday afternoon after picking up my passport.

    For the rest of day and all day tomorrow I will take time to explore the area and I in. I will post pictures of my adventures.

    ... you can tell I have experienced a lot this afternoon and evening. I am going to be taking it easy for a bit tonight. I will be up early in the morning so that I can be at the Consulate as close to 8:00am as possible to drop off my passport and give them my visa number. I will be taking the subway to the consulate.     This morning we left our hotel early and got one last time on the shinkansen. I must say that I will miss this wonderful train that ALWAYS runs on time, rides VERY smoothly, has very large COMFORTABLE chairs and (for me huge, for Willem) PERFECT leg space.     day. All this for $15 – what a bargain! We biked to a gorgeous park in the
    middle of the city, strolled around the lake in the middle of the park and took
    a break half way around for lunch. Soba noodle bowls were in order for today.
    Nobu found a cute little restaurant with an owner who was quite the character.
