... The toaster was one that was probably bought when they opened the hotel, and it only browned the toast on one side. The coffee was weak and the tea sucked. The only good thing was the fruit was freshly cut and there was enough variety. So at least she got what she wanted. Sometimes when there no one has a good option to present, there is a tendency to not talk about the problem, and consequently we didn't talk about what we were going to do with the rest of the ...

... scooter ride back in which I kept nodding off and clonking my head against Hannah's helmet (such was the excellence of the chauffeur!) we arrived back at the hostel to snatch a few more hours sleep.

Should we stay in Java a bit longer and maybe go and see another volcano, or get on our way back across to Bali? Hmm, we didn't know but after the amazing night in Ijen which we knew couldn't be topped, decided to crack on and head east again. We hopped on a crumbling bemo ...

... br> My #notinamerica for today - on the tv there was an ad for weight gain supplement
#sameeverywhere - everyone waiting in the immigration office was playing on their smartphone. Some even playing candy crush.

Tomorrow we are getting up early to attempt to make a trip to Carita, which is west of here. From there we plan on taking a boat to see Krakatoa and Anak Krakatoa. Should be an adventure figuring out public transportation there and back!
