... offered me food and helped me to get my visa extension. I didn't hear good stories about Jakarta. Colleague backpackers even advised me to avoid it, because they hated the city. This got me curious. Their description was right; Jakarta is overcrowded, busy and really dirty. But for me, this is not a reason to hate it. ... there wasn’t a lot to read about. I had finished my museum adventures by around two thirty and figured it was time to head home or I would be caught in terrible traffic. I called my taxi driver and was on the road home in a few minutes.

During the drive I receive a text saying to meet dad at Amigos, a Mexican restaurant in the Kemang area. I told my driver to go there instead which seemed to be no problem as we were moving slower than a snail. It was two hours stuck ...
