Our early morning sail in to Qingdao, PRC, was beautiful with the sun rising out of the Yellow Sea as we slowed our SOA through a multitude of Chinese fishing boats. An average week’s consumption will include over 18,000 eggs, 16,000 lbs of meat, poultry and seafood, 12,500 lbs of vegetables and 2,000+ bottles of wine and champagne. Quite the grocery shopping list! We are doing our best to eat and drink our fair share.

... with my Russian pals. It turns out if you're a woman or foreign here you'll never have to pay for a drink so I was quids in as I tick both of this boxes. The bars were nothing all that special but I spent no money all night which is pretty great. I'm also getting pretty adept with chopsticks. I ate a big fat scotch pancake style thing with them the other day, winner. ...
