Our early morning sail in to Qingdao, PRC, was beautiful with the sun rising out of the Yellow Sea as we slowed our SOA through a multitude of Chinese fishing boats. As does happen every morning several of us regulars were gathered at our oval table aft in the port side of the Lido. Some have referred to it as our "Oval Office", where we solve all the problems of the previous day. (Or we think we do). We also laugh a lot.

On one final note: Yesterday was the first day that Techspert Craig covered the “iPad and iPhone basics” in the Digital Workshop. Today we had a delightful day in Qingdao, China. Qingdao is beautiful coastal city with an interesting history. The city is sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of the east because it is surrounded by water on three sides and beautiful green hills on the other. It has a population of over 8 million and is a popular tourist attraction for the Chinese and Korean's due to its beaches and mild climate.

An average week’s consumption will include over 18,000 eggs, 16,000 lbs of meat, poultry and seafood, 12,500 lbs of vegetables and 2,000+ bottles of wine and champagne. Quite the grocery shopping list! We are doing our best to eat and drink our fair share.
