... I can find to describe it is when you walk into a pet store. That fishy....dried leather sort of smell. It was exactly like that.

Everywhere you looked were dried fish, small ones, larger ones....even giant puffer type beasts. All hanging up and drying in the sun. Ah yes, the sun. ... to experience the view for ourselves. We took a number of photos - and took some of other couples using their cameras - then after about 45 minutes went back inside for a reasonably priced lunch at the Hong Kong Day restaurant - some of the other restaurants were outrageously expensive!

We were pleased to find that there was only a short queue to go back down in the tram, and in any case we were able to jump the queue thanks to Angela's faithful ...

Well here I sit in the Wing Lounge in Hong Kong. Finally arrived after a whopping 15 hour flight!  Local time is about 9:30pm on 2/15. We arrived in the Qantas lounge at around 10.00am.
It was time for some breakfast as we had only eaten lightly before leaving home.
After breakfast a glass of Bollinger then it was time to board QF 127 for Hong Kong.
The departure was delayed because of rain in Sydney.

... to the subway seemed a bit contrived. He had lead us on to a busy street and said a Taxi would come and pick us up in a few minutes. He insisted we sat down but we all refused as we were all feeling a bit uneasy about the situation by this point. There were loads of marked Taxis waiting but apparently they would be too expensive and we had already agreed a price of 150 yen with our new companion.
