... on the sundae! Amazingly beautiful and what a surprise---small gold Buddha’s stuck in crevices of the cave and two massive Goddesses of Mercy in the middle---one with many arms, one all by herself. The Buddhist Gods and Goddesses can take many shapes---that’s part of this folklore. At night our guide took us for an evening walk in the park which we were all wondering about until she guided us ...

          Life's Differences

So that means the temperature outside is the temperature inside. And sometimes it's even colder inside because there is no direct sunlight. Winter coats become an everyday necessity and my nose has yet to reach normal temperatures. I've found that the best place to stay in the house is under the covers where the cold ...

I could reach out of my car and pat the other car's driver's head if ...

... that we’d read about online.

We happily paid the 50 kuai entrance fee and skipped gleefully into the park. We followed the excited holiday travelers down the short path to the famous waterfall and found…

Nanxi Jiang, or Southwest River is a beautiful river and series of mountainous valleys just across the Ou River to the north of Wenzhou. We took Cecilys car out for a day trip when we visited Wenzhou in Mid November. Here are some pictures. I forgot my camera so the pictures are taken with my iPod, so not very good ...
