    The following day, we visited the Nanyue Temple. A complex of buildings designed so that Taoist and Buddhist believers could worship in the same buildings. Once again there was the constant sound of explosives ruining would might have been a morning of perfect tranquility.     For my last adventure of the week, I decided to go to the Taoist mountain of "fire". There are five for all the earth's elements and the one in my province happens to be the one that is governed by a "fire keeper" guy.

    ... I went to Changsha early to make the “quick trip”
    with Becky, my lovely field director with World Teach, to the “foreign expert
    office, at which I was to collect some complicated forms to take with me to
    Zhuji to do my paper work for next year etc. etc…well let’s just say about 3
    hours, 60Y and 4 cab rides/angst-filled running around, 2 whining/crying.
