... or some ice. They were gone ages. I looked over the balcony and saw the owners of the restaurant carrying Kyosuke around. Tomoko was nowhere to be seen. In the end, Tomoko had a migraine and was quite sick (Kyosuke was fine). The restaurant owners babysat for about an hour and even fed him. Such hospitality! ... a local Irish bar, we also had pizza for dinner at said bar, I know very bad but we needed a break from sushi! Kumamoto appears to be a very small city in comparison to where we have travelled and I think Andy and I both appreciate the value of this, it is so easy to get into the countryside from here. Also, the vibe of the city is much more relaxed which we really like. Hopefully by tomorrow the weather will have cleared and we can visit the much famed Kumamoto castle. Until then good ...
