    ... pigeon, fish, sticky rice, clams, shrimp, potatoes and green vegetables. The shrimp was moving on the plate! The food was all uncooked and there was a pot of hot broth in front of each of us. We used our chopsticks to pick out what we wanted to eat, put it in the pot and waited for it to boil. When the broth boiled for a minute or two the food was ready to eat.     ... with recycled items. There were a lot of robots. Many of the outfits were very creative. They had a runway and the students would model their wares. We ran into Shirley from TE 7 or 8. Her 5 year old son goes to Ji Guan.

    ... a snack shop and a restaurant to eat in. We did some 'tub hopping' from a milk bath to a sulphur bath to one with Chinese herbs. There was a tub that had a television on a wall above it. Now that would be one for Gene. He could relax in the tub and watch the Bearcats! It doesn't get much better than that for him! We were there for about three hours.     ... Club where students can go and speak English. Daisy came to Cincinnati to study English in 2011. She is an English teacher at Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College. There are three grades here and around 10,000 students. Daisy told us some of the skills the students learn here are Hotel Management, Tourism, mechanics and automobile manufacturing. They go to classes for 2/12 years and then work at a job in their fields. We received a warm welcome from around 100 ...

    ... from a colleague of the teachers who has a baby that is one month old. It is a tradition to give these eggs to signify that a door has opened for the baby, to go through the next phase of his/her life. They used to be wrapped in red paper but are now put in red bags and these eggs each have a red heart sticker on them signifying 'Double Happiness'.
