          ... before class and he said he had a gift for me. He gave me a small plaque of a Sichuan Opera Mask and a book of colorful pictures of Liuzhou. Now, Gene and I went to Chengdu, where they perform the 'changing masks' opera. The performers change their mask several times, without taking them off, in less than a second!
