... than what Google Maps said. This was most likely my downfall. Between backtracking, waiting, and because I missed a crucial train, the set back was almost two hours. I thought to myself, "Holy **** I wish I had my car right now." During my wait for the train I grabbed some snacks. I got there at 11:50 am via 3250 yen taxi ride. I planned on getting there at 10:15 am. They had lots of stuff that I liked. I wish I had more time there. I forgot to grab one of the ...

Needless to ...

... All sorts of dignitaries and reporters were on hand for the unveiling.

There were all sorts of artefacts and curios from the past 160 years, including the helmet shaped decorations that used to adorn the opening of a tunnel.

We had 3 hours at the museum, 2 of which was to look around and another hour for lunch. That was probably more than enough time for me.

We retraced our steps back to Tokyo Station. ...

Going back to Oyama and seeing Alberto and his wonderful family was something we really looked forward to and the action was there!
We kicked off the night with one of Iracy's amazing dinner and left the next morning at 5am for a 24hours beach marathon. Drove 80km to get there and spent the whole day and night at the beach. It was so much fun, the water was warm, the sun shining, the heat intense.
Today we are just taking it easy with lots of siesta time and catching ...
