... last 15 were a breeze and finally managed to get the little BMW to 5th gear. Upon arriving the town was full of tourists and coaches, the views were again amazing at the top were a 12th century monastery still stands – and full of cats (the dress Tam had to wear was straight out of a Zara catalogue). family run restaurant. Nikos told us we would have THE best food we had ever
had cooked personally by his wife and then pretty much told us what we would be

... with lots of steps through the ancient ruins, dating back to 400 BC.
We see Greek, Roman and even Venetian ruins. Very spectacular. We are told that many mosaic floors have been preserved, but they are covered in plastic and sand to keep them from deteriorating. Not much good for us us, their must be a better way! We eventually get to see a small example.

Waking up on the ferry this morning feeling a little worse for wear and over heating. The cabins were cosy with no air conditioning so we didn't really have a wonderful sleep.
