    We went to John & Polly's to see their house and one the way you have to go past Kitty City, this is a collection of stray cats that are fed by the local ex-pat animal charity. There are hundreds of cats on the island.

    ... Saffron Milk Cap and another which was a type of parasol mushroom and was huge.

    The kids and Wifey thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, we have to say the Greek's have been so hospitable towards us during our stay. Dinner was a mushroom risotto lovingly prepared by Wifey and I have to say it was really tasty indeed. I finished the kids left overs off too.

    ... time outside which is probably why I have been a little lazy on the blog. We are all well and have hired a car again to see more of the island, there is a beach called Kokinacastra which is pretty special. We have been eating well and are planning on hiring a car once a week to do a big shop and see different parts of the island each week.

    ... nice weather so the beach has become priority for the kids.

    This is the only true sandy beach on the Island and the kids and Cassie had a whale of a time running up and down the beach. I was on ball throwing duty and the kids were racing Cassie, it was a close contest as to who was going to run out of energy first.     ... aware of the island in the Pacific that is made up of drifting plastic debris and this brought it home to us I think. When you have such beauty (our Planet) why poison it and live so carelessly. Most tribes are thankful to mother earth for there hunting when they take life, they only take what they need and the surround eco system can support this.
