... Lhasa the capital of Tibet. After a sleep in and some breaky I hurriedly threw all my stuff in my bag and checked out around 12. I didn’t have to be at the station for my train to Xian for another 8 hours so I chucked my bags in the storeroom of the hostel and hit the streets.

First stop was the Wenshu Temple and its surrounds. The temple itself, a Tang Dynasty monastery was fabulous. It was nice to finally see something that was authentically old, not destroyed ...
