During the day we had a bunch of kids want to sample the juice or get a free apple and we offered them a trade, in that they helped and could sample the juice… not one was willing to take advantage.. work must be a 4 letter word… of all the adults who either stopped or walked by we had only 2 offer to help for a sample… one gal stayed over an hour and had a full 16 oz glass, and we warned her ...
Remembering our rules of the road
A lot of eastern Washington is on fire so there was
smoke on I 90 but not like the other passes. David did all the driving and did
an outstanding job. We both learned a lot last year so hopefully I will do as
well when I take the wheel There was no road construction so that was a plus
but of course we usually only have
construction when I drive We are at a very nice RV park and will stay a couple
of days

Unwhite Christmas
... to the orchard to hang out with Matt and Katie's nieces, Sami and Sara, and Matt's brother Tim. First up, after being offered tea, coffee, food etc., Tim took us all out into the sage brush, which is a big lot of open land, some of which is part of the Ranch property and the rest of which is Indian Reservation. He took us to his shooting range and taught us all how to shoot without killing anyone or hurting anything.
