... after all, no harm was done!

It was a mad scramble from the the tourist shuttle bus to the next bus that would take me to Huixian where I must take a train to Zhengzhou, Capitol of Henan for the night.

The bus, not a large one, has a passenger capacity of 27. Because I started out standing, crammed in, I was able to count 48 in total on the bus. After departing Huixian, we ran into a long line of traffic. Turns out five cars ...

So,
I finally have some time to sit and write. Thought I would try to catch this blog up as some of you keener readers have been asking about it!

This is all a long long time ago now, but there's some good photos so thought it's worth going back on the memories.

Last summer we spent 4 very intense weeks teaching in Zhengzhou which is in the Hennan province. (A bit more central)

... Chinese staff was finally able to find a sneaker store down the road. And I desperately needed new shoes since my sneakers got a hole in the back and the plastic was rubbing the back of my foot. We took a quick taxi ride, which didn't even cost a dollar and I was able to find a nice pair of sneakers for a decent price. Lunch was once again in the cafeteria. I felt much better today after finally getting some much needed sleep! We had breakfast in the cafeteria here in the castle, today it was sandwiches with some sort of egg salad on them.
