    ... goodbyes and packed the car once more. After leaving Fürstenfeldbruck, we drove back to the Autobahn to complete the A99 ring route around Munich. This is the closest I have been to the capital city of Bavaria and the city is absolutely huge. It took us almost an hour to drive all the way around it and we ended up on the A8 on the way to Salzburg, Austria.

    ... foreign grocery stores. Sometimes you just get tired of sit-down meals and just want a quick sandwich for a picnic. You see the funniest things...for instance, in Tokyo they had Spam everywhere. Here in Germany they make everything paprika-flavored. In Augsburg, we picked up paprika-flavored cheese to go on our turkey sandwiches (and it was GREAT). I've seen paprika flavored chips, too.
