      ... fringes into Manly. 10km walk. Helen had forgotten that this coastal walk had quite a few climbs and descents. There were lots of very large lizards on the path.       Today we have toured Sydney via a hop on hop off bus and a cruise around the harbour, stopping off at Manly for a bite to eat. We wanted to see everything in one day as we fly up to Airlie Beach/The Whitsunday Islands at 8:15 tomorrow morning. We caught the bus by our hotel and our first stop was the Opera House.       We started the day with a shopping list and a loose plan. We needed one toothpaste, three boomerangs and one opal. We did not end up getting the opal, but the search was pretty fun. We slowly became opal experts after visiting a few shops.
      Our ship ported between the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, so we were able to tick those two things off the list pretty quickly. Then we went through the Rocks neighborhood which had lovely historical buildings. ...
