    ... there are about 120,000 residents in Brugge but it swells with about 1500 tourists per day. It was hard going through the narrow streets to follow our tour guide but we managed to stay together well. Had a nice time on the canal cruise. It is a very old city some 13th century buildings, churches mainly & 17th century houses. It is famous for its beautiful bobbin lace work & very nice chocolates of which we had to buy a few of course. ...

    ... interesting.

    It was a good last day to take in the atmosphere of Barcelona. One of the things we have really enjoyed is the buskers and in particular the quality and sound they are presenting. Today I listened to a violinist who was just brilliant and had to have played lead violin in an orchestra.

    ... layover until the connection to Barcelona. That gave us enough time to walk down the steps from the plane to the Tarmac, be bussed to the terminal, figure out our departure gate, find the 'servicios' (as we say in Espana) and board our connecting flight.
