... observed Pink Shirt Day and did anti-bullying activities at the different levels. That was neat since it started in NS. This week is Book Week with activities each day. Tim’s voice is one of the secret sound bites reading a Dr. Zeus extract that the kids have to guess. And yes, besides all these extra activities, we’re still plodding through our curriculum which has to be mastered! The third progress report goes out this Friday.

... about 20 minutes through a city we don't know with all our luggage. Needless to say I was becoming progressively more light-headed. That being said, it was incredibly cool to finally see a part of China, and the area near our hotel is totally decked out in Lunar New Year decorations. We are in Guangzhou after a 12 1/2 hour flight - enough time to watch four movies and have two meals! I spent a little time studying Khmer (the Cambodian language) and napped a little bit. Going through immigration, we were directed to the "Special" line since we were staying in Guangzhou for a couple of nights.
