... as members of the band taking part in the Maori Cultural demonstration last night, Nigel had a private Poi lesson today. Please see the video...his head is okay...

We are 7 out of 8 concerts done in China - one tomorrow night and then it's South Korea on Sunday.

6:00am start again...bus - plane - bus - hotel - rehearsal - food - concert - hotel - sleep - Korea!!!

We were picked up at the station by the Guangzhou Opera House Coach – clearly we’re important ;) – and arrived at the fabulous Donlord Hotel where we will spend 2 nights. Most
of the band headed out exploring. We haven’t had many opportunities to shop and sightsee so this was a great opportunity to do so.

While today is a day off for the band, it’s not the case for the Maori group. ...

Following these last five days, I’ve now completed my first
week of teaching. More overwhelming than I originally thought, I’ve still yet
to settle down into my classes. I realize being thrown into the fire is
the worst, but once the sizzle fades, I for one am more than eager to finally stand

... is so different. I’ll start by saying American Chinese food is a far cry from real Chinese food. I’ll also go on record on how blessed I am that the food here in the south is mostly sea food and mild, whilst up north, describing the food as extremely spicy would be an understatement. The one occasion I did try some northern food, I thought I burned my kidneys to ash.
