    ... to come and pray! There are several buildings, monks here and there in their simple brown outfits, lots of Buddhas, and beautiful gardens! There are Cyprus trees everywhere and many huge old magnolia trees in full bloom. The place smelled just wonderful and just filled you with a sense of peace. A great way to start our day!     ... Carmel, James and Emily (Economics, Business, English and English teachers) from Ningbo Zhenhai A Level centre plus John and a couple of Lithuanian female friends of theirs. We went to the Eudora Bar and then onto C for dancing. These were in Laouwai Town, which is the really buzzy area in Ningbo where there are lots of clubs and bars. We had a lovely evening, lots of fun, and good company.

    In my first couple of weeks of being in China, I have met a great variety of people from all over the world. Upon my arrival at the airport, I was met by my new roommate, Patrick, and his Nepalese friend, Eric, who has been living in Ningbo for seven years now.
