... The views into the valley were spectacular and only got better as we walked along. I was able to see the "road" and the windy road after the tunnel. We came across a derelict old house that would have been quite palatial in it's time.
We turned back when the sign on the road indicated a windy downhill stretch. No more climbing for this little black duck.
Back at the hotel we waited for ages for the tour "guide" to get a bus and ended up leaving closer ...

... hotel for lunch a bit after 3. Everyone was starving and very tired.
After lunch Todd, David, Eric and I played mahjong to the delight of the locals that were passing by. We attracted quite a crowd. The bus driver appeared and came to help us play as he had been playing all day with the people from the hotel. He was able to show us what we should be saving and throwing out. Then it was a rest time before heading out to dinner.

... and a semi permanent shelter. We walked up amy stairs to make our way to a waterhole which had a waterfall dribbling into it. If you shouted it was supposed to increase the flow but there seemed to be lot of yelling and not much water. The water was icy cold and beautiful as it was really hot.
