... Cheng Do took one and half hours each way and as we were sailing again at 2pm, there was not a lot of time on our hands. The visits were to two temples and to a shopping street / market (although the closest we got to the latter was a drive through the precinct).

... that that remind me why travelling is so great. After a pretty bad morning, I needed that reinforcement. What if I had got on the ferry earlier, without all the stress of buying a ticket? ... number of pianos on it. There is an amazing piano museum, which I am sure Nick's father would love. I wasn't allowed to take photos, but it was a fantastic collection. There was even a corner piano. I imagine you would have to cross your hands over to play it. Continuing the musical theme, a chinaman living in Australia is determined to create the largest organ museum in the world. Again, the collection was amazing. ... here was quite pretty, lots of light on all the buildings and along the harbour, many ships here as Xiamen is a major shipping port between Taiwan an Xiamem.
A lot of the Aussies did the same shore excursion as ours so we all experienced abit of cultural and the beaches and the shops.
Dinner was not far away, as we didn't have any lunch so we getting a little bit peckish, don't know how but you have to have some food with alcohol!! Tonight was again ...
