It's amazing what we take for granted in Australia and seeing this side of life in other countries is always a highlight to me. 2 hours into our 1 hour transfer we arrive (with a sigh of relief from the driver) at Mission Hills Duggan. After a day of lounging in the sun and drinking, our second day in Hong Kong was the exact opposite. Hong Kong is known for its numerous hiking trails, and Nicole's friend Ashley, who is an avid trail runner, and told us about one hike that involved "water trekking". The description of water trekking sounded like canyoning-light: hike up a stream and occasionally stop to swim in pools ...

... ignore people and keep on walking after a while. The room was tiny...we have more space and better nights sleep when we take my camper van out for a trip. Don't think the pictures tell the true story of how small that room was. We managed...somehow. Hong Kong has been the most expensive place on our trip so far and I doubt anywhere else will come close. Thankfully the sites we wanted to visit where pretty much free except for a few metro stops ...
