Maddie will be writing our blogs for the most part this trip. She is doing an GREAT job! We are so impressed. Jack she took your words to heart and we didn't even have to remind her today...she started writing on her own! Today we arrived in Hong Kong at about 8:30 pm. Our Tauck local tour guide led us through the massive Hong Kong Airport to a coach bus (for 5 of us). ...

... the lights on at 6am to produce trays of what they call 'breakfast' don't know who in there right mind invented the menu but your options were porridge mixed with beef or sausage mixed with spinach and tomato soup! Never in my life was I so happy to see a fruit salad! Flying into the airport the views were breathtaking.. Now I've found myself a Chinese too eat before my next flight where I plan to sleep! ... more open terrain. When we got to the beach at the bottom, we grabbed a couple of drinks and took a much needed rest on the beach to watch the sun go down. We managed to jump on a local minibus type service that got us back to the metro lines and from there back to Kowloon. We were both shattered after two days of walking in the heat, so just had a relaxed evening at the hostel to sort out our last few bits for moving on from Hong Kong and for our day trip to Macau the next ...
