... As we worked out our jetlag wouldn't be as bad if we got a couple hours sleep on the plane. Des tried watching movies to get him tired, but that didn't work out very well. When breakfast was served he still hadn't slept very much. Quality of service was very good on the plane. After 9,5 hours of sleep, food, movies, games and banter we arrived at Hong Kong Airport!!

Kathy and I headed out to the club together for our 9 am practice slot but somehow ended up walking in a big circle of about 1.5 km ...

... to use the MTR. We wandered around Hong Kong island and with it being a Sunday, all of the indian & filipino domestic staff were out meeting their friends. Sunday is their only day off, so it is a great atmosphere, watching them having such fun, in the parks, on the pavements and even on the roads. They have picnics, cook food, dance, play games etc. Later we walked along the promenade in Kowloon and watched the various cruise ships, ferries, junks sail ...

Just a very quick note before we set out again to tread the streets of Hong Kong.

Was a sad farewell at the train station at Antwerp as we said our fond farewells to Lotty, Nieke and Tijs. Plane trip to HK was without a hitch but seems we all have the sniffles now. Think it is a combo of public transport and our energy levels getting low!!

Not much to report here in HK at the moment. Will write in detail when I get home. The shops ...
