... but unfortunately few maps so not the easiest mode of transport to use but we managed.

After a couple of days venturing on our own we took a food tour (on Valentine's Day) around Sham Shui Po. The first thing we learnt was that all metro stations have toilets: they are behind the information desk and all you need to do is ask and they let you in!!!! One of us used that later in our holiday! George and I fell in love with pineapple buns for ...

... the night and couldn’t get comfy. So arriving in HK was weird and confusing because it was already afternoon, when it should have been morning. While I was in HK I stayed with an old school friend (Nicole) who I hadn't seen in 7 years so I was excited. ... Fortunately by the time we had unpacked the sun was out, so we headed out for a walk.

Hong Kong was bustling and vibrant - we were very pleased to be there again. We had a look around the shops in Times Square and came across a fantastic bookshop/stationer and spent some time browsing.

We spent the next day walking through the Wanchai and Central districts of Hong Kong Island and whilst the weather started off dull and overcast, the sun broke ...

... Ladies' Market and the two adjacent streets devoted to sports goods and electronics. We also visited Apliu street earlier as well. Our trip ended with a quick visit to Langham Place, which is a giant 13 storey mall (and a spiral floor plan from levels 8 to 13). Time in Hong Kong was awesome and we wish we were here longer to drink more of their bubble tea and their late night ...
