Hotel ini harganya agak mahal, tetapi kita mendapat sesuai dengan yang kita bayarkan. Sangat bersih, ruangnya besar, lokasinya berada di dekat Dongmen Shopping Area. Bersebelahan dengan public transportation. Lengkap banget fasilitasnya.

    Thursday 8/28: Landing

After a smooth flight, I arrived at Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island bright and early at 6am. Soon after having been fortunate enough to be received by family living in the city, I experienced my first MTR ride. What can I say? It was a culture shock. Although I thought I had mentally prepared myself for the crowdedness and homogeneity of HK, the environment still had a ...

... mum and I walked through the bizarre but great area that is mong kok. According to our tourist map it's the prime spot to pick up cheap electrical goods, but I didn't really look at the electrical shops because I was too distracted by what was on the street - mong kok seems to be the place where any budding musical artist rocks up in the evening with a microphone and some speakers, and just sings out to the people in ...

Ms. Pam showed us a couple pictures of President Obama's half-brother who lives in the area and comes once a week to the orphanage to teach piano lessons. There were also a couple of pics of Itzhac Perlman who had apparently been to the orphanage to teach violin lessons. We continued ...
