Hotel ini harganya agak mahal, tetapi kita mendapat sesuai dengan yang kita bayarkan. Sangat bersih, ruangnya besar, lokasinya berada di dekat Dongmen Shopping Area. Bersebelahan dengan public transportation. Lengkap banget fasilitasnya.

At the departure lounge in Guilin there is a huge group of visibly British students - from a sports team I think - all guys.

They are loud and drunk and carting around a crash test dummy, which accompanies them in pictures with the smiling locals. Turns out there is more than one way to travel in China.

... conditions. This is the first port we have been to where you leave the ship via a huge Shopping Mall - only in Hong Kong! Managed to speak on Skype to all three sons for Mother's Day and to Brian's Mum too- so that was good - it seems ages since we left the UK. Unfortunately, the weather today (Monday) is much the same as yesterday - foggy! Never mind we will still go out and explore on ...

... the top of the tower, not only do you get a great view over Macau, Cotai and China, but also get to see people doing crazy things like running along the edge and hanging off (skywalk) and bungy jumping off it. AJ Hackett set the world record here at over 220m and runs the bungy jump business. Saw a modern statue that Portugal gave China at handover time then went to an older part of town where the buildings have cages on the outside. These are to enlarge the living space. Nearby ...

... if not secretive. You had to head to a hotel and find the door for the car park and follow the tunnels to the gun. We found the door and followed the tunnels and found the gun but were some what let down by the size, I think I could produce more noise and the walk to it was a lot more interesting. We went back to the train station and went to look at the old Post Office and the new one built next to it and down the road from here was a temple that had been built years ...

          ... off the boat.

We successfully navigated our way through the crowds to the taxi stand. The cab driver spoke no English and when we gave him Amy's address he motioned in one direction. We said yes, but we had no idea he was pointing in the right direction. As we began to climb the mountain behind the central business district we at least knew he was headed in the right direction.
