So we found the buses to the cable car station (there's two) and of course paid a lot for buses and entry to the park. The number of times he had to ask directions tells me the Chinese signage wasn't all that great either. I made the very foolish mistake of bringing everything up the mountain with me in my backpack. ... Our hotel just opened two weeks ago, and is an hour from the city in a nicely renovated older building, which survived the Cultural Revolution due to its remote location away from town. It was formerly used as a canola oil factory, and the old oil press is proudly displayed in the dining room area. They have done a great job renovating everything, it is beautifully done.
As we arrive at our hotel, we are serenaded by the locals, with drums, cymbals ...

... places it was so peaceful .



I went to various places at Huangshan including Lotus Peak and bright summit Peak and passed Celestial peak –also I finally got to go to fairy bridge – but god it was scary along some of the way heheehee.

peaceful areas such as on the way to nd at Fairy bridge - i finally got to Fairy bridge :) it took two hours (round trip) to get to the fairy bridge - well worth it though.
