... Our hotel just opened two weeks ago, and is an hour from the city in a nicely renovated older building, which survived the Cultural Revolution due to its remote location away from town. It was formerly used as a canola oil factory, and the old oil press is proudly displayed in the dining room area. They have done a great job renovating everything, it is beautifully done.

... holding myself quite tense as I was quite scared a lot!

Anyway on the way down I found lots of peaceful areas – took my time and enjoyed the views. It got really warm too – bonus.

I didn't get to see the monkeys – or much else – but on the bright side – at lease ive done my blog for those of you who asked.
