We went to the local clinic with Yili this morning, and he diagnosed us just by looking at the tongue and feeling the pulse. And he was spot on!     ... closer to the intersection, it got deeper. We both looked at each other in a "do we even ask if this is sewage water" kind of way, but then I thought, you know what? I'm in China, I'm following the stupid water gosh-darn-it. So we wandered beside the street as the water level rose and rose. We kept following it as it got higher and higher and got quite a few strange looks along the way.
