Outside we were met by our new guide, Jack, a diminutive Chinese guy with jam-jar glasses but very good english and a cheeky sense of humour to match. Looking no more than 18, he is in fact 27, married and with a baby on the way. The car, another Buick which seem to be everywhere here, was newer than the others and we were told later that the driver has a very rich wife. The drive to the hotel took about an ...

... definitely lived there for a while but apparantly he was inclined to stretch the truth at times.

We caught a boat to one of the islands and joined a throng of people doing the same thing. The island was very pretty, lots of waterways with huge koi in them it was very busy and crowded. We had our picture taken in period attire to the great mirth of the locals who gathered around like the paparazzi to take a photo. All good fun.

Huan Chen was only going to the train station which is a mere 25 KIlometers, he was heading to his hometown of Wenzhou where they speak a "German" sounding dialect according to Lil Al. I make the joke that the people from Wenzhou are born with tails but the doctors cut them off at birth! Huan loves the on going Wenzhou jokes. ...

    ... Didn't notice anything unusual.

When I use filters in photoshop, a strangely familiar shape appears.
Of course, photoshop can do strange stuff to most things, so I did some straight up enlargements, and inversions too.

As last year there were multiple sightings of ufo's in the area, thought I'd share this.

I'm withholding any judgement, but it's fun to imagine there is something to this..
Sure makes the world more potentially interesting!
