After temperatures falling to 17 at night and low 20s in the day, this week we’re back up to a low of 24 and high 20s with humidity in the day. I know PEI had its second snow storm this week and the first Storm Day of the year. We listen to Ocean 100 radio station every day and heard the school closure announcement Thursday morning – Tim said a few choice words ...

We’re really enjoyed the little things, like a hot shower that didn’t turn cold after ...

... too big to jump so you just walk through – soaking feet. The last annoyance are the crazy Chinese drivers, especially the taxi drivers, who never slow down and in the rainy conditions, that means a spray or a wall of water as they plow through the water welled up against the curbs – wet everything.

Both of us needed a haircut this week. Tim has been trying to find the cheapest place for a cut. Many of the places give you a long hair wash and massage, ...

... a stream of Chinese people walking with their shopping carts – that was unusual at 6;30 on a Sunday morning so I turned and followed the trail and ended up at a huge green market. I’d say it was like a middleman market where the big bins of produce arrived from the countryside and vendors from the wet markets were buying, as well as individuals. So there were carts, bikes, mini wagons and trucks all trying to work their way down the market. I ...
