It may seem odd to us to see trotters there for sale for consumption, and I may not fancy eating one but i quite like no part of the animal is wasted.
anyway i didnt get back to the pagoda - but i had a great time in Xi'an - its quite tiring all this travel on my own :o)
The dancers are from Friday night (after i post my blog) i was in my hotel when i heard the noise so went out for a look ! :)

Terracotta Warriors
Today we headed off to see the Terracotta Warriors. I am sure you all know the story of these. One of the very early Chinese emperiors built an army has part of his tomb and it was burried below ground. In 1974 a couple of farmers were digging a well and found this army of 6,000 plus soliders and horses - not a bad find eh!
Once again we were joined on our visit to the Warriors with 5 million plus Chinese!

Am Südtor angekommen habe ich beschlossen, die restlichen Meter zu Fuß zurück zu legen, da es nicht mehr weit sein sollte. Außerdem kann ich so auch ein bisschen mehr von der Stadt sehen...Es stellte sich auch tatsächlich als nicht besonders weit heraus, so dass ich nach ungefähr 15 Minuten am Eingang des Glockenturms angekommen bin. Leider war das Wetter nicht so gut, deshalb ließ die Aussicht ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig. Noch dazu ...
