    Yep...the inevitable rain arrived today! But hey we did well it's been nearly three weeks! But we didn't let a little bit of rain stop our exploration just a trip up to The Peak (there didn't seem much point with the city covered in clouds!!).

    ... to about 18p! It was an experience... queues of people pile on to the knackered old ferry as soon as the gate drops and it chugs along the habour getting battered by the choppy waves. Once over the other side I checked out the avenue of stars, which is all their top celebs (like Jackie Chan etc) doing a kind of hollywood style handprint in cement surrounded by a star shaped plaque all layed down in the floor along the prominard.     ... was when it was still under British control. Since HK returned to China, I’ve been somewhat hesitant to visit, because I have been skeptical about China’s promise to preserve HK's democratic system. Well, fast forward fifteen years to this past summer. I witnessed firsthand China’s ingenuity in imposing the “One country, Two systems” policy on HK. It has allowed HK to continue to prosper beyond anyone’s expectations!
