Touchdown in turkey to 32 degree weather and the sun blazing. My first night there I checked out the local marvels of the city, the blue mosque in all it's beauty, seriously amazing! I visited my friend Yavuz, who returned recently from his work in Zelenograd, Russia for a quick vacation.

The whole stretch from Silifke to well past Antalya is revolting high rise. Mind you some of them are unbelievable; so kitsch that they are interesting. We thought that maybe someone had started a completion to see who could design the ugliest building!
