    ... Mauz family to a dinner out. All week we had watched them preparing meal after meal for us and we decided enough was enough. They were going to have a dinner that they could enjoy from beginning to end...no negotiation! We went to a restaurant that was a brewery. Tilmann's mother came...as did Nando. The beer and food were all so good. A perfect choice to end a perfect day.

    ... on our tour was a stop at the Ritter Sport chocolate store and museum. I think we walked out with enough chocolate to last us for at least a year...if not longer! When Sarah came here for a visit, Tilmann took her there and described it to me as "The Evil Store." I can see why!

    ... obstacle course. The kids would ride the zip line from station to station...stop, do the activity and then continue through the trees. It looked eerily like some subculture who lived only in the trees...very hobbit-like. After coming back down, we went to a German beer garden and had a delicious dinner of food specific to the region. And yes, I did have a beer! On the way home, the moon was just spectacular. Another perfect end to a perfect day.
