... Many large and small tour groups were seated at long tables. That brought a lot of food and while we ate there was a show of traditional dancers. After dinner we went into what looked like a nightclub and watched a show put on by the "lady boys". They are transvestites that are gorgeous. The show was like Zigfield follies meets Las Vegas. After leaving the park behind we came to the old town. There was a sign for the waterfall up ahead and when we came to it, it seemed to point into some sort of shopping centre. Evidently they had built these little stalls and gift shops to entice tourists into buying stuff before walking to the waterfall. With this in mind I began to feel excited, I have seen some incredible waterfalls and displays ...
... was delayed by 25 minutes. Oh well, better to be early than sorry. Eventually we take off and the flight seems to be going very well. It looks like we might arrive about 45 minutes after takeoff. However, storms are reported just north of Phuket Airport by the captain. We start making our approach and the windows are streaming with water.
