I could bore you with my day to day thoughts that popped into my head while I was on the beach, but I will not go down that road. (like if Paul McCartney actually die in a car accident in November of 1966 and was replaced by an imposter, who was actually more talented? The first Paul McCartney or the Second? And what are the odds the three other Beatles could find someone that talented who also looked like ...

... He became very excited and agitated all at once. Since he spoke broken English it was hard to tell what side he fell on. Long story short my new "Friend" told him, "all right you've said enough! You have to go now." In a nut shell this guy was making everyone nervous.

Who needs all that! I came here to have fun not get all bent out of shape about how much Russia Sucks.

... beloved wasn't meant to live on an island and we were both shaken.

It didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves (although the hummingbird-sized cockroach by our cottage door almost did), but reminded me that it's best to take it slow with a travel-newbie. One day we'll laugh about Dave puking in the turtle pond, thus giving the little snappers the buffet of a lifetime, but even now (March 2015) it's a sore subject. ... was in Mexico he had a very scary and bad encounter with the police. The police told me to watch my purse and be careful because it was so late and very dangerous on the road we were walking on. They decided to drive slowly along the road with us and finally Steven could tell the cops were just trying to make sure we were safe.
Stephanie, Tarvo and I jumped into the back seat of the truck, and Steven got to sit in the truck bed with one of the police.

Being the rainy season we've been blessed with pretty decent sun in between rain storms. We've been able to layout everyday so far. The beach is very nice at the IFA Bavaro. They try to keep the dried up seaweed and kelp cleaned up for the most part. Plenty of chairs and lounges to go around. Lots of beach activities and water sports. And of course lots of pretty girls. Of which about 20% seem to be missing half their bathing suits lol! Overall we are very pleased with the beach.
