The market was near the marina. Thelea, from Exas Yachts, had given us some suggestions in her final communication as to what we needed to buy. While Shirley and I ...

Naoussa, Cyclades, Greece traceybelleWe had decided today that we were going to hire some bicycles and go and explore a little bit more of the island so after breakfast we went and got 2 bikes for just 5 euros each and set off on a little adventure we had heard that acros from us there was a nice beach so off we went. The trafic in the centre was a bit hairy and I thought I was going to die as we are on the ...
Naoussa, Cyclades, Greece traceybelle... Got some fresh bread and cheese for lunch and some pasta with onions, garlic, peppers and fresh tomatoes for dinner with a bottle of the local wine to go with it.

... say that the route to reach this beach is one of the two most interesting ones I have ever taken to reach a beach, the other being the Hippies’ Hidden Atlantis in Ibiza. To reach this beach by foot is an adventure in itself. We first walked quite a distance, which is not a problem at all as it was on flat land. Like the Virona Bay which we visited yesterday, Kartego Beach is ...

Dinner at Chora:
By the time we reached Chora, we were totally famished! Due to my tiredness and hunger, I just sat myself down at the first decent restaurant in central Chora and asked for the menu. Although Argi was not happy with my choice, he was too nice to protest. The restaurant has an
English menu, much to my delight, and I started ordering my food, which was more Italian ...
... couldn't do anything about it until the morning and would have to explain what happened to Lisa then. At the end of every night I would have the campsite keys and would leave them in the pint glass with my takings and Heather would collect them both when she went to open the mini-market in the mornings. On this morning Heather couldn't find the keys to the shop and was late opening up. With me being still drunk I couldn't remember where I had left them, I thought they were in the glass ...
Paros, Cyclades, Greece talamarko... while. Being in the ocean all day made us hungry for fish. So for dinner we headed to a fishing village where we all expected a little more than we got. Seafood grill sounded great when all we got was 2 little pieces of everything which most of it was overcooked, yummy! That was a bit of a disappointment but this didn't stop us all having a few drinks afterwards and winding down after our full day out at sea. Early morning to departure to SANTORINI.
Paros, Greece nelson_courts... some time learning Spanish in Spain for 6 months. Maybe I will do Thailand, then do Spain next. Who knows what I'm doing. I could end up anywhere doing anything. I've been traveling like the wind lately and I kinda like it. It's a very free feeling. If I get my laptop tomorrow, I will upload some of the funniest videos I have taken with my camera. Well maybe more later on tomorrow. Oh yea, Sunday was my 3 week mark for being in Ios. I can't believe I have been here for 3 weeks!!
Ios Island, Greece jaredten... end of the island, something they forgot to disclose when we booked! It was a good 30 minute ride to Mykonos town from the resort, but we didn't let that dampen our spirits. The weather was good and the company was great, so we were happy campers. We spent the first day kickn back on the beach, downing Heiniken's, and chilling out by the pool at the resort, watching Chooky do his soon to become famous bombs off the diving board! At night they had a bar going ...
