... cornbelt, something I probably learned in junior high geography class. We arrived in Minneapolis-St. Paul via tunnel (ugh) and we were able to see old parts and new parts of the city. The city has only 500,000 inhabitants but it certainly seems much larger than that; many, many tall buildings and extensive road infrastructure within the city.
