I should mention: over the weekend I decided it's time for me to take a break from the travels.

After 120 days on the road, consecutive nights of hotel or campground, I would favor familiar surroundings to recharge and plan for the change in seasons. Fortunately, I know this woman who birthed me - she's willing to put me up for a while.

We continued on the Grand Island NE and spent a couple of hours at Stuhr Museum. This is a very interesting museum that if it ever has enough money could be as good as Greenfield. They have lots of space and the current collection is a good start. I liked the 1894 Railroad town to a point. It probably is a ...

... of Labor Temple was an interesting building. It was bingo night but we didn't go in. Antique malls were on every corner and the newly renovated Grand theater was cool. Finally, we ended up at Nathan Detroit's pub and enjoyed a cold glass of Buffalo Sweat. Don't worry, it was actually a tasty dark beer. Off to bed, so we can rest up for a twenty mile bicycle ride early tomorrow. More ...
