Final Craft Day Before the Wedding.
We arrived in Hastings about noon, and Brian and Kaylene arrived about 5:00 so we meet for dinner and made plans for the next day.
Kaylene picked me up and we head over to her best friend - Amy, for one more crafts project before the wedding.

Long drive
... Island.
Arriving in Grand Island around 5 pm, in time to walk around downtown Grand Island, not much to see but alright. I was able to buy a vintage postcard for my collection! We got a picnic at a little grocery store and went to Eagle Scout Lake, which was a lovely and peaceful sight.
We stayed at the Days Inn near the highway in Grand Island for $79.00

A dry area with little to no green grass
Left Edmond, Ok about 8 AM continuing on I-35. Several rest areas. Arrived Grand Island, Neb about 4:15. paid $4 for the Kansas Turnpike(what a joke) Fueled at exit 312 @ Pilot(73.9 at $4.01/9)
Everthing is dry but lots of corn and sunflowers all under irrigation. The KOA was dry, gravel and dusty.
