    ... As luck will have it, the rain subsided when we were departing and started again five minutes after our arrival in Satun. "Where are you going?" was how we were greeted by many tourist agencies before customs, in the queue at customs and in the arrivals hall. The problem is that we didn't really know where we wanted to go. Our plan was to take a boat from Langkawi to Koh Lipe and do some diving and island hopping.     ... came off the 4, the ride was stunning. Amazing white sandy beaches that went on for miles and no development in sight. I saw one sign saying 'first condominium being built soon'...don't see many of those signs in Bangkok or Phuket!
