... Thanks for following along, it's been fun and gratifying to know friends and family have been on the trip with us.
Many have commented it was "the trip of a lifetime". Well, yes... but we hope not, more one of our trips during our lifetime. We're already thinking about where to go next.

... about to step in when another one of the group dressed with his face painted like a kitty cat, ears on his head, and a velvet tail on his butt, grabbed the guys arm and told him "Step off, mate" and freed the girl. The drunken man mumbled something negative about us while we walked away. I was impressed by kitty cat man and surprised that didn't lead to a fight. All the bars we visited were named after animals and the last one ...
Well, we are home - boo-hiss!
The flight was long and if I'm honest, I prefer the Jumbo to the Airbus;but that's not what is is about.
The Premier lounge at J'Burg airport was great. If you are ever going to spend an extended time at an airport, do it.
We did little shopping while at the airport and discovered that sweets and snacks ...
... book seats to guarantee that we would be sat together and premium because it includes priority boarding and guaranteed a place for our cabin bags, it was only £7 more than it would have been for a standard seat. I would never normally upgrade seating or pay extra for anything, but it made sense on this occasion.
Got to decide whether to drive to the airport next, and then book parking for the 19 days that we will be away, or maybe ...
... mum can only take us to the airport mega early, urgh. BUT this time in 24 hours all this stress will have been worth it and we will be in Paris, woo!
