Wyndham Roanoke Airport Hotel

Yikes I lost my entry so this may be brief. Kosmo and I went out to find 1 inch of snow and ice. His highlight for the morning was to to find a frozen blue jay. Once again, I was without my camera, perhaps a good thing. Kosmo was sad not to be able to bring the jay with him. He settled into his car coma. It took us 45 minutes to go about 2 miles...

So Mom and Dad are on a cruise at the Panama Canal with Joey and Janie. They left Monday and won't be back until the 29th!!! Got an email that they are warm, it's sunny and they are a couple hundred miles from Aruba.

We were in no rush to get to Salem, Va and since we had missed Skyline the day before, we spontaneously decided to exit of I-81 in order to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway down to Roanoke. One of our excursions that took us a little further was south to Roanoke; it was to be a bit of a Malc day really – but as you will see I did find a couple of ‘girly’ shots to include. The main reason for going was to visit the transport museum there…I feel the boys’ anticipation building and the girls groaning...

Finally we are settled somewhere for more than a day! We are house/dog sitting for Chucks Dad and family for the week so I should be able to get some more pics up here! So I guess I will start at the Redwoods since you guys saw the pics from Crater lake and Toketee Falls in the last posting!
