... in Detroit, I couldn't stop thinking about Tel Aviv. All I wanted to do was be back. Even the idea of going back to Tel Aviv made me smile. Since that time, Israel and Palestine have gone through a war and tensions have been higher than they have in a long time. ... with the people who love me whom I love unconditionally, and finally meeting in person some friends I have been talking to for a while. All of this excitement is mixed with some slight general nervous feelings and overall outrageous happiness :)
Since we have returned from South Haven, things have been so crazy. I've had work and last minute things to finish the yearbook every day. On top of all that, I've been practicing my Portuguese, packing, and buying ...
... told us the "transponder" was fixed and that we could leave. We headed for take-off and right before we did, the steward announced that the "transponder" had broken down, again, and that we had to return to the gate. Which we did. Needless to say, in the process, it's was already 10:30 pm and they had given us... glasses of water.
Half an hour later, they decided to make us leave the plane and wait inside the terminal. There, it was a feast : sodas, peanuts ...
... We have first class again and get huge seats. Meaning, we get a pillow, comforter, and our seat goes a full 180 degrees (Lie Flats). I think it's going to be funny to see how mom and dad try and work all the "techie" buttons on their seats.
I will hopefully post a few more pics on here to show you their reaction to seeing their seats for the first time and trying to work all the buttons.
